Overview The Automatic Clinical Analyzer, or ACA, was DuPonts most successful venture in the medical/diagnostic instruments field. The ACA contains a spectrometer that reads samples of blood or other bodily fluids that have been mixed with testing reagents inside sealed packets made of DuPont Surlyn®, a concept developed by a team led by DuPont researcher Donald R. Johnson. The ACA helped doctors make accurate diagnoses of several clinical conditions as well as quickly assess a patients general physical state. |
